On the 9th day of September at 7:00pm at fire station meeting room a public hearing will be conducted by the Palmyra Township Board of Trustees whereby the Board will consider additions to the Palmyra Township Zoning Resolution regarding section 410 of Article IV Use Height & Area Regulations: Residential Small for Solar and Wind Energy Systems and the Article II additions to the definitions related to Small Solar and Wind Energy Systems including Small Energy System, Small Solar Energy System, Small Wind Energy System, Solar Energy, Solar Energy Duel Propose and Wind Energy/Turbine. And finally the addition to Article II definition of “Nuisance.”

Addition to Definitions Article II

 Palmyra Township Zoning Commission is requesting the addition of the definition of “Nuisance” be added to Article II Definitions the following definition has been reviewed by the Portage County Regional Planning Commission and were presented in a public hearing held by the Palmyra Township Board of Zoning Commission and were approved by unanimous vote at the last commissions meeting following the public hearing.

Palmyra Township Zoning Commission is requesting the addition of definitions to provide explanation of terms used in Article IV Solar Wind Energy Power be added to Article II Definitions the following definition(s) have been reviewed by the Portage County Regional Planning Commission and were presented in a public hearing held by the Palmyra Township Board of Zoning Commission and were approved by unanimous vote at the last commissions meeting following the public hearing.
